Well, I passed my drivers test. Let me tell you about the driver's over here!!! WOW!!! All Koreans have the right of way. I mean they will literally run you over if you get in their way. If there is one inch between you and the car in front of you while you are at a stop light, you better believe if a taxi wants through...they will get through! If you are involved in an accident and it is between you (an American) and a Korean, it is your fault. It doesn't matter if they hit you from behind, it is your fault. Americans have to "pay" the Koreans right at the accident site. People keep money in their car...up to $500 to pay for accidents. It is really horrible. We are over here to help them, protect them if something should happen, and we are the ones that get pooped all over. Our license plates are different, so if a Korean sees this you can bet your teeth he will pull right out in front of you. I haven't been out much since Johnnie has been gone (he is in school at Daegu, which is about 5 hours away). I like to let him do the driving even if it means that we fight the whole time. The boys and I just go to post to check our mail, pick up a few things at the Commissary (if it isn't closed) and head back home to Hannam Village. My friend and I did venture out to Dongdaemun Market to buy some fish. We took our time and listened to our new best friend, Garmin. We made it there and are each proud owners of three gold fish. YAHOO!
