We went to the zoo on Sunday. It was an adventure! In Korea the streets are a little weird. They go every which way...and some are just alleys, but that is the way that our Garmin wanted us to go. We would drive, miss the turn it wanted us to take, and hear a lovely voice, "Recalculating...drive 1.6 miles and turn left." We made it despite several missed turns. It was a very cool zoo. Not expensive, and clean...I mean our part was clean. Some of the animals cages were dirty with poo-poo, but all in all it was clean. We saw lions and elephants...but the neatest thing was the monkeys. They had the cages set up to where there was about a foot gap between their cage and the bars on our side. It was so neat to see the baby monkeys down on Caleb and Jarrett's level looking at them. They were as interested in the boys as the boys were interested in them. We went with some friends of ours, and their boy Dillan, was holding a conversation with the monkey! IT WAS SO CUTE! The monkey would look around and actually looked like he was listening and understood everything Dillan said! We had a great day. Can't wait to go back (we know how to get there now!!!)
